Refund policy

Returns, Exchanges & Administration Charges

At Wodar, we strive to ensure every customer receives the correct product for their project. To help customers choose the correct finish before purchasing a full tap system, colour samples are available to purchase from our accessories section.

Exchanges

We do not offer exchanges on tap systems, sinks, boilers, filters or accessory packs. If you wish to purchase a different product, the original order must be returned in accordance with our Returns Policy and a new order placed.

Returns

Customers may return products in accordance with their statutory rights. Returned products must be:

  • Unused and uninstalled
  • Complete with all original components
  • Returned in their original packaging
  • In a clean and resalable condition

Administration & Inspection Charges

Where a return is accepted outside of your statutory cancellation rights, or where Wodar agrees to accept a discretionary return, the following administration and inspection charges may be deducted from the refund:

  • Orders under £100: £10
  • Orders over £100: £25

These charges contribute towards the costs associated with inspecting, handling, repackaging and processing returned goods.

Reduction in Refund Value

Wodar reserves the right to make deductions from any refund where products are returned:

  • Installed or partially installed
  • Used or tested beyond what is reasonably necessary to inspect them
  • Damaged during return transit
  • Without original packaging
  • With missing components, accessories or documentation
  • In a condition that reduces their resale value

Any deduction will reflect the actual reduction in value of the returned goods.

Faulty, Damaged or Incorrectly Supplied Goods

No administration or inspection charge will apply where products are confirmed to be:

  • Faulty
  • Damaged upon delivery
  • Incorrectly supplied by Wodar

These returns will be handled in accordance with your statutory consumer rights.

Important Information

Due to the nature and value of our products, customers are strongly encouraged to verify dimensions, specifications and finish selections before placing an order. Colour samples are available to assist with finish selection and reduce the likelihood of unnecessary returns.

Please note: Boilers, filters and consumable items that have been connected, used or had their seals broken cannot be returned for hygiene, safety and quality control reasons unless they are faulty.

 

Return Steps

At Wodar, we strive to make your return experience as smooth as possible. If you need to return an item, please follow these steps:

  1. Initiate Your Return: Visit our returns processing area at https://www.wodar.com/tools/returns/ to request a return.
  2. Authorization and Returns Information: Once your return request is approved, you will then be given a returns reference number and information on where to return your order. Important: Do not return items without prior authorization to avoid loss of your order.
  3. Prepare Your Return: Repackage the item securely in its original packaging. Ensure it remains unmarked and that all instructions, cleaning cloths, and parts are included. Please refer to the image below of how we expect the condition of your order to be sent back to us in. Add a note inside the package with your order number and reason for the return. All items that were sent, must be returned in a saleable condition.
  4. Send your order: Please then return your order to the address provided on the returns information that we provide you with in step 2.
  5. Return Processing: Upon receipt, our team will inspect the returned item using advanced technology to confirm it is in working order.
  6. Refund: If your return meets our criteria, we will process your refund within 10 working days of receiving the item. Please note, a admin and restocking charge of £25 will be deducted from the refund. A confirmation email will be sent once your refund is completed. Please note, any damage to the packaging, parts missing including fitting instructions or damage to the product will be subject to an additional charge.

Returning Unwanted Items

Changed your mind? No problem! Notify us within 30 days of receiving the item and return it within 30 days. Ensure the item is unused, unmarked, and in its original packaging.

Returning Faulty or Damaged Items

If your product arrives faulty or damaged, please contact us within 7 days at returns@wodar.com. To expedite the resolution, include photos or a video of the issue in your email. Our team will investigate promptly and find a solution.

Warranty & Guarantees

All our products come with a 24-month manufacturer's guarantee from the date of purchase, covering manufacturing defects. We also offer extended warranties. Note that the warranty for tanks and filters becomes void if filter replacements are not maintained, or if the tap is cleaned with incorrect products. We recommend using only a damp cloth without detergents.

If a fault occurs within the warranty period, please contact us at returns@wodar.com for guidance on next steps. If damage or misuse is determined, the warranty will be voided, and the product will be returned. If the fault is covered, we’ll assist with repairs or replacements.

Filter Change Requirements

To ensure your Wodar product operates smoothly and maintains warranty coverage, please adhere to the following guidelines:

  1. Regular Filter Changes:
    • Every 6 Months: Change filters every 6 months.
    • Hard Water Areas: Change filters every 3 months if you live in a hard water area.
  2. Check Your Water Type: Determine if you have hard water by consulting your local water authority or using a home test kit.
  3. Approved Filters Only:
    • Purchase filters directly from www.wodar.com.
    • Using filters from other sources will void your warranty and may damage your system.

Replacement Policy

Your satisfaction is our priority. If you need a replacement for a tap or boiler, we offer a replacement warranty for peace of mind:

  • Expired Warranty: Replacement items will come with a 3-month warranty from the date of receipt.
  • Active Warranty: If your original warranty is still active, the replacement will carry over the remaining warranty period, ensuring coverage for up to 12 months from the original purchase date.

Clearance Products

All clearance products are heavily discounted and sold as-is. No returns or exchanges will be accepted for these items. By purchasing a clearance product, you agree to these terms. Ensure you are satisfied with your selection before completing your purchase.

Disclaimer

Wodar is not liable for costs incurred due to plumbing issues arising from our products. Plumbing is the customer’s responsibility, and we do not offer refunds for plumbing-related problems. 

Reinstallation Costs Due to Errors

At Wodar, we strive for excellence. However, if an issue requires reinstallation by a plumber, please note:

  • Why We Can’t Cover Costs: Plumbing expenses can vary greatly, making it difficult to standardize compensation. Plumbing services are managed by third parties, outside our control.
